Forster Xmas Homecoming Rumours
RUMOURS are circulating that jailed lawyer Kennedy Forster
is to be allowed
home to spend a final Christmas in his luxurious Stranraer
house.
Forster's home, Thornbank House, was sold two
weeks ago by estate agent FPD
Savills. But the buyer is said to have been given an entry
date of
mid-January, igniting rumours of the former Honorary Sheriff's
return to
spend the festive period with his family.
The Scottish Prison
Service refused to comment on the rumour this week.
However,
the Free Press understands that Forster will not be allowed
out of
prison this winter and, in fact, will not be allowed to
apply for parole
until 2007.
A spokesman for the prison service this week
said:
"We
do not comment on
individual prisoner's cases."
Forster
(54) was again the subject of court action this week
as the Crown
started proceedings to claw back any assets they can
link to his fraudulent
past. When the case was called at the Court of Session,
it was adjourned
until Thursday, 11th or Friday, 12th November.
