Local Bands perform for Tsunami Appeal
OVER 250 people turned out last Saturday night at Stranraer's
Millennium
Centre to hear local bands perform in aid of the Tsunami
Appeal.
Back Seat Driver, The Missionary Men and Bad
Reputation ensured a full house
for "Music for Relief", which raised £1551.51
for the Disasters Emergency
Committee.
Stranraer DJ Nish Walker opened proceedings at
7.30 pm after crowds had
patiently waited outside and by 8 pm it was Back
Seat Driver who took the
stage first.
Next were the Missionary Men, who produced
a varied set ranging from the
sixties to the present day, followed by Bad Reputation,
who brought the
evening to a successful conclusion with a series of rock
classics.
The bands wish to thank everyone who turned up
on the night and also those
who helped out behind the scenes.
