  • Landscapes
    15 January to 12 February 2005
    A series of 30 poems by writer Tom Pow accompanied by 16 lino-cut images by artist Hugh Bryden. Published as a limited edition book, it was launched at the Edinburgh International Book Festival in 1999. The exhibition includes some additional work by Hugh Bryden.

  • Histoire Naturelle
    19 February to 19 March 2005
    Picasso comes to Wigtownshire! Thirty-one original prints by the 20th Century greatest artist. produced in 1942 they depict animals, birds, insects and other creatures.
    A travelling exhibition from the Hayward Gallery.

  • Women in the Picture
    23 March to 20 April 2005
    Women's life in the Machars during the 20th Century. This exhibition, researched and organised by local women, includes a collection of taped reminisces.
